Call for Abstracts
The Scientific Program Committee invites authors to submit abstracts to be considered for inclusion in the scientific program at The 10th Vietnam Congress of Congenital and Structural Heart Diseases “Patent Ductus Arteriosus from A to Z from A to Z” (herewith called PDA) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

A. IMPORTANT DATES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

We will offer 50% discount on registration fee for participants having short listed abstracts.

• Open Abstract Submission and Attendance registration
: November 1, 2023

• Deadline for submission of Abstract
: December 12, 2023

• Announcement of short listed abstracts
: December 15, 2023

B. TOPICS
“Patent Ductus Arteriosus from A to Z”, including PDA closure, PDA stenting and Updates the new technologies in intervention of congenital heart disease

C. GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

1. Abstracts may be submitted only via website www.congenitalheartdisease.net.vn. Abstracts submitted via fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
2. All abstracts must be presented in English.
3. When an abstract is accepted, the corresponding author must register and attend the congress.

D. REQUIRED FORMAT

The abstract is up to 300 words. Abstracts must be written as a Word file in Times New Roman font and the font size of 12 points.

• Abstract Title

     - Please write the title in Title Case (each main word has a capital letter).
     - Do not use quotation marks.
     - Leave one blank line between the title and authors/affiliations

• Authors and Affiliations

     - The full names (no initials) of all contributing authors (including corresponding author) must be included above the abstract. Please do not include degrees or professional titles. The name of the corresponding author should be marked with an asterisk (*).
     - Author Affiliations - please include the name of your organization, the city, the state, and the country. Use a superscript number to link each author with their affiliation.

• Abstract Text

     - All abstract are subject to review by the Scientific Committee and acceptance into the program is not guaranteed. Only a few of them will be chosen for oral or poster presentation.
     - The abstract must follow the format outlined below:
    • Aims
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusion

E. SUBMISSION ONLINE

After having submitted your abstract, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail with the following information (please make sure to state your correct email address):
    - Reference number of your abstract (for correspondence and questions that might arise)
    - Your personal access codes

Should you wish to make correction (only once) to an abstract already submitted or if you wish to submit other abstracts later, you may use these access codes. This will shorten the submission procedure.

F. WITHDRAWAL POLICY

If authors wish to withdraw their abstracts from presentation they are requested to send a letter via e-mail to the congress secretariat secretary@congenitalheartdisease.net.vn before November 30th, 2013. Consequently the abstract will not be presented.
